How it works

Discover our unique process…
How online maths tutoring works

1. Tuition setup

Do you have the right equipment?
Computer or tablet, Internet connection, email address, webcam and microphone, headset (optional better sound).

2. Contact us

Contact us by phone, email or contact form. We will answer any questions that you may have & discuss your requirements. Book your session through our online booking system. Once your lesson is confirmed (by email) we look forward to meeting you on the agreed date and time.

3. Run Zoom

Install Zoom on your laptop or desktop. Make sure that the software is installed in good time before your session & the correct name is displayed. Use the instructions in the email to join our tutor for your lesson. Please remember to join 5 minutes early for your first session.

4. Attend your tutorial

Lesson will be started by our Tutor and he/she will allow student access to join the tuition session. The lesson will take place via video call. You will receive a reminder email before each session commences.

Use of virtual whiteboard

Our tutor may also use a virtual whiteboard and smart pen to write explanations and solutions in real time to help the student follow the lesson with ease. We encourage students to send answers via this method.

End lesson

Our tutor will end the video call at the end of lesson. We operate our yearly calendar into 6 terms. Tutorials are booked via term. You can auto-enrol for the next term if you wish to continue via our Class4Kids scheduling page.

Library of live class links

You will be provided with a link to your personal library of all your sessions for future reference. As a result, you will be able to replay your tutorials as many times as you like in future at no cost long after your course of sessions have finished. These links will be super useful for revision purposes!
